This award winning project, which encapsulated 38 M&S stores across the Moto service station network, provided a cost-effective and efficient solution to the operational challenge faced by our client.

The existing refrigeration packs, critical for preserving perishable stock, were experiencing performance issues due to rising environmental temperatures. This resulted in significant stock losses during peak summer periods.

Kroyair's innovative solution; instead of replacing the entire refrigeration packs, which would have been cost-prohibitive, our team collaborated with manufacturing partners to develop a more economical and sustainable upgrade solution. Our approach involved pilot testing to prove the concept worked at the most challenging site, then a verification process, rigorously testing the system under extreme temperature conditions, before finally rolling out the full-scale project across all 38 service site locations.

Results have been to extend current equipment lifespan and reduce costs by utilising and refurbishing infrastructure wherever possible, all whilst reducing material waste and increasing environmental sustainability, so a real win win outcome.

The project went on to catch the industry's attention and was voted 'Retail Project Of The Year' at the prestigious RAC Cooling Industry Awards. It's another perfect example of Kroyair's dedication to innovation and our environmental responsibilities.
